Touching, funny and utterly original, Freckle Productions' delightful adaptation of Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler's Stick Man is back on stage!
What starts off as a morning jog becomes quite the misadventure for Stick Man: a dog wants to play fetch with him, a swan builds a nest with him, and he even ends up on a fire! How will Stick Man ever get back to the family tree in time for Christmas?
This award-winning production, from the team behind Zog and Zog and The Flying Doctors features a trio of top actors and is packed full of puppetry, songs, live music and funky moves.
All ages welcome!

Directions
The Bloomsbury Theatre is a short 5 minute walk from Euston mainline railway stations and 15 minute walk from King's Cross. We're close to a huge number of local bus routes including 10, 18, 24, 29, 73, 91, 168 and 253. Cycling racks are available immediately in front of the venue and we're close to several Tfl Cycle Hire Docking Stations.

Our Studio venue on the Lower Ground floor (underneath the main theatre) is used as a buggy park. There are toilets and a bar in that area, so it's a handy first stop-off point for families and groups who need to leave the buggy, get everyone sorted, and then head up into the theatre.
Driving
Gordon Street has now been fully pedestrianised by Camden Council, with access restricted to delivery traffic. Taxi drop-offs and access for disabled visitors are still permitted, and there are two Blue Badge parking bays outside 17 Gordon Street.
Coaches and larger vehicles, including delivery vehicles over 18m long, cannot access Gordon Street. We recommend Endsleigh Gardens or Gower Place for coach drop-offs. A loading bay for smaller delivery vehicles is available directly outside the theatre. Please find more information here.
Car parking
Please be aware that the theatre is located in TFL's Congestion Charge and Ultra Low Emission zone, and we recommend other forms of transport where possible.
There are several NCP parking facilities nearby, these include:
- London Brunswick Square (820m)
- London Kings Cross St Pancras (870m - no disabled spaces)
- London Regents Park (1,140m)
There are a limited number of local paid on-street parking bays. These are free after 6.30pm Monday to Friday, after 1.30pm on Saturday and all day Sunday. See the following for more information:

Blue Badge holders
There are a limited number of on-street parking spaces for Blue Badge holders. These can be found on this Camden Council parking map.
Please note that the Blue Badge scheme does not fully apply in this part of central London where it applies only to:

(if time limit shown, also display clock disc with arrival time) - paid for parking bays with payment, 1 hour of additional parking is provided after the expiry of your parking session.

Lalany is a young British Actress from Oxford, now based in London. After graduating from East 15 Acting School, Lalany is super excited to take on the fun and magical role of Stick Lady Love!
Liam is a London-based musical theatre performer, actor, and multi-instrumentalist.
He trained at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, having previously graduated from the University of Edinburgh with a master’s in physics.
Previous credits include: Longitude (Upstairs at The Gatehouse); Romeo and Juliet (Italian tour); Music and Murder By… (Edinburgh Fringe).
Erin trained at Guildford School of Acting, where she was the recipient of the Bice Bellairs Award.
Theatre credits include: The Pianist (Mayflower Studios, Park Theatre)
Screen credits include: Act Like a Friend (TfL).

Having made his debut as Stick Man last year, Sam is thrilled to be returning to the family tree once more and is delighted to share one of his favourite stories with everyone at the Montgomery Theatre.
Originally from Peterborough, Sam moved to London to train at the London College of Music. Since graduating in 2019, he has enjoyed a varied career performing on cruise ships, in theatres and on screen. Most recently, Sam made his television debut in the BBC’s adaptation of Dear England, where he originated the role of Declan Rice.
Away from the stage, Sam can be found on a golf course, a padel court or a football pitch. Any sport will do – he isn’t fussy! Sam has also been writing and developing his first play, alongside teaching at LMA London, helping to inspire the next generation of Stick Men and Stick Lady Loves.

Freya Stephenson is a skilled actor and puppeteer who is thrilled to bring Stick Lady Love to life in Stick Man.

Toby is an actor, comedian and musician from London. He trained as an actor-musician at the Guildford School of Acting before studying clown and theatre at École Philippe Gaulier in Paris.
Recent theatre credits include: Whodunnit Unrehearsed 4 (Park Theatre); She Stoops to Conquer (New Forest Open Air Theatre); NewsRevue (Canal Café Theatre).
He is also an established voiceover artist, with credits spanning dubbing, animation and audiobooks.
Toby regularly performs stand-up comedy and hosts his own comedy cabaret club, Belly Laugh Barn.
Rosie is an Actor & Musician who trained at London College of Music and graduated in 2020.
Rosie’s professional credits: Stick Lady and Actor Musician in Stick Man (Singapore, UAE & UK Tour), Musical Director in A Soldier’s Woman (The Cockpit, London) and Rosalind in As You Like It (The Royal Victoria Patriotic Building, London).
Roles whilst training: Musical Director in Lucky Stiff and Reed 2 (Band) in The Wild Party.
